AcuTapping
Emotional Control Techniques (ETC)
Memorize The Basic Procedure. Aim it at any emotional
or physical problem by customizing it with an appropriate Setup Affirmation and Reminder
Phrase. Where necessary, be persistent until all parts of the problem have disappered. Try
it on everything! It either works or it does no harm.
The Basic Procedure:
Make a note (mental or written) of what specific problem is bothering you at
this time. Rate how much it is affecting you on a scale from 0 to 10, with
zero being no effect and 10 the greatest effect imaginable that might be present.
1. The Setup Affirmation:
Even though I have this [state the problem] I deeply and completely
accept myself the way I am, and my bodies ability to heal itself," while continously
tapping (or massaging) the collarbone area. This is to help release any
psychological blockages that might exist before you start the "The Sequence."
2. The Sequence (Repeat 3 times):
With two or three fingers (together), tap 3 to 5 times on each of the energy points as illustrated
in the figure below (beginning with the eye brow point) while naming the problem, i.e. fear, anger, etc.
(a focal point) at each of the seven points. The Sequence is terminated with Step 8.
The Sequence begins with the following tapping (see Figure 1 below):
|
- EB = Beginning of the Eye Brow.
- SE = Side of the Eye.
- UE = Under the Eye.
- UN = Under the Nose.
- CH = Just above the Chin.
- CB = Beginning of the Collar Bone.
- UA = 4-inches under the Armpit.
|
The Sequence is terminated with:
|
- FS = With hands inter-twined, rub edge of fingers and thumb together.

Rate again how much the original problem is affecting you on the scale from 0 to 10. If there
is still a problem, repeat Step 1 and
2.
Note: In subsequent rounds "The Setup
Affirmation" is adjusted to reflect that you are addressing the remaining parts of the
problem, i.e. Even thought I still (state the problem), I deeply and completely, etc.
