Here is her story . . . . |
In December of 1995 she agreed to have a biopsy. The doctor said he felt 100% sure it was cancer but blood was in the biopsy so this could not be proven. He suggested a radical mastectomy to include the removal of lymph glands, but in spite of her fears, Elaine rejected his recommendation, feeling certain that she could find a better alternative At that point she changed her diet, going completely vegan and started taking herbs, vitamins and minerals. The herbs she took included red clover, pau d arco, cascara sagrada (was this Elaine's choice or was she guided in these?). In March of 96 Elaine developed pneumonia. She took food grade peroxide as well as a product call Oxy Toddy. She was receiving counseling by a man named Phil Oliver at Sickle Cell of Georgia. He has been very supportive of her using alternative methods. "He was always there for me," she stated. In May of 96 Elaine moved in with her mother as she was weak and needed her mother's help. She started juicing with a base of carrot juice, plus beets, parsley, and celery. She said she tried raw food but it was too heavy and made her weak. In October of 96 she decided to have the lump removed The AMAS (Anti-Malignin Antibody in Serum) test of the growth confirmed it was malignant. The lump was 2.5 centimeters and in the second stage of cancer. The doctor informed her that it had spread outside of the rim of the lump. The surgeon suggested radiation and tomoxifen. She had a chance encounter with a nurse who worked on a hospital oncology ward who told her that she knew of no one who later survived after the radiation treatment, which gave her the reinforcement to reject the radiation and drug treatment. Her blood count was dropping and she had a blood transfusion (is this timing right?). Elaine was now following the Hulda Clark parasite cleanse protocol as well as using the Zapper recommended by Hulda Clark in her well known book "A Cure for all Cancer." During this time she had a support group that believed in what she was doing. She did affirmations and read healing bible verses as often as possible. In 1997, she left Mahikari when one of the ministers told her she would be healed if she donated more money. Although she said she learned a great deal from the organization, she did not find that it helped her become stronger. "It is disimpowering," she stated. She went to a herbologist who recommended herbs and needleless acupuncture. He recommended cats claw, cascara sagrada, chaparral, wheat germ and lecithin. She prayed and listened to healing tapes. In March of 1997 she had a mammogram which the doctor stated "looked good." The doctor was surprised but advised her to be careful. She continued to have a mammogram every six months, but after a year, she read that mammograms were dangerous so she discontinued this practice. It is now five years later and Elaine looks and feels great. She is continuing to be seen by a holistic practitioner and is taking natural vitamins and mineral plus herbs. |
